Milton

I decided to do another draw of my new character, Milton, since he looked so depressed in the last pic I drew of him. I also decided to take the lines away from his limbs, and I think it looks better this way.

This is my main character for my Camp NaNoWriMo story next April.

Update: I'll put in some more info about the character and the story, "What Will it Take?"

He was born October 25, 1852 in Mississippi, and has lived there his entire life. He completed only up to the eighth grade before his father pulled him out of school to go work on a newly-started railroad project and earn some money to help the family. Since then, he has learned a lot about working hard and caring/providing for others. At the time the story begins, he has a wife (an Umbreon named Priscilla), and a son (an Eevee named Joseph). The story takes place mostly in the years 1907 and 1912 in which major events in his life take place. After having spent much of his life trusting in his own self-righteousness to get to heaven, he gets saved in 1907 at 54 (I'll reveal more later about what happens shortly after that). In early April of 1912, his still unsaved son, Joseph, commits murder and is sentenced to die on April 12. The story focuses on Milton not just trying to save his son from being executed somehow, but also on him trying to get Joseph to place his faith in Jesus to forgive his sins, lest he end up in hell. What will it take for Joseph to listen to his father? Does he not understand the grave peril he faces? Will Milton somehow find a way to stop Joseph from getting executed?
