Description

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" - Hebrews 9:27

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" - 2 Corinthians 6:2

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man (Jesus Christ) whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." - Acts 17:30-31

1. You must realize that you are a sinner who has broken God's perfect law and come short of His glory. You will stand before Him in judgment someday and be judged based on everything you ever did, and that no number of your own "good deeds" will ever save or justify you. A person goes to one of two places after their death: heaven, or hell. Your sin is far worse than the world wants you to believe. I'm writing this so that you may see the truth about it and hopefully act accordingly. Please read the following scriptures from the King James Bible, the word of God.

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." - 1 Timothy 1:15

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" - Romans 3:10

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" - Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." - Daniel 12:2

"How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?" - Job 15:16

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." - Isaiah 64:6

"Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah." - Psalm 39:5

"For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." - Ecclesiastes 7:20

2. You must believe on and trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone and His death and bloodshed on the cross as payment for your sins to be saved. There is no other being in the universe who can forgive your sins. Because of His mercy, He will spare you from God's wrath and hell. The reason Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day for our justification was to make salvation possible for us. He lived the perfect, sinless life on this earth that we couldn't live, and this qualified Him to be the perfect sacrifice for us. However, this means that He is the ONLY WAY to be saved (John 14:6), because there's no one else who is capable of taking away your sins. He imputes (ascribes) His righteousness to you when you trust in Jesus to save you from sin and hell! Amazing! Please read the following scriptures to see from the word of God itself how you can become saved.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 --->
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Acts 16:30-31 --->
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." - Romans 3:28

"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." - Romans 4:5

Ephesians 1:12-14 --->
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;" - Titus 3:5

"...In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" - Ephesians 1:7

Ephesians 2:8-9 --->
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:" - Romans 5:1

Romans 5:8-11 --->
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

"And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:" - Philippians 3:9

"For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death." - 2 Corinthians 7:10

"Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." - Acts 20:21
